About the App
A modern iOS app for golfers who love traveling the world and don’t want to simply forget their rounds. MyGolfDiary is your personal golf diary: log the rounds you’ve played and rate the courses, attach photos as keepsakes, and use an interactive map with worldwide OpenStreetMap data to find new courses for your next trip at any time. Built with SwiftUI, SwiftData and MapKit.
📔 Golf Diary
- Log rounds: Record every round played with date, course, notes and flight partners – editable afterwards at any time.
- Course ratings: Rate courses in detail – condition, layout, value, service, catering, greens, fairways and bunkers – including your own comment.
- Photo memories: Attach photos directly to rounds and ratings. A central photo gallery with year/month/day filters and search makes every memory easy to find again – including the location and course linked to each photo.
- Flight partner management: Add playing partners once and assign them again for every round, with their own overview of all rounds played together.
- Map & calendar view: All rounds and ratings at a glance – geographically on the map or chronologically in the calendar.
- iCloud sync: Via CloudKit, rounds, ratings and photos are automatically available on all your devices.
🗺️ Course Data & Map
- Fairway Radar: Interactive map for finding golf courses nearby or at any travel destination, with a 3D flyover view and live local weather.
- Worldwide OpenStreetMap integration: Offline-capable, regionally downloadable golf course data for every continent – including search across multilingual name variants.
- German DGV extra data: For German courses, additional detailed course and tee information (course rating, slope, par per tee).
- Course reports as PDF: Export a course’s master data and your own ratings as an attractive PDF report.
- Community corrections: Report missing or outdated course data directly from the app as a structured note to OpenStreetMap – the correction is visible locally right away.
